I picked up the Hasbro TC and decided to swap the head with my Walmart Starscream.

All you need to do now is paint the face a nice gun metal gray.

I wondered what that would look like. I like it. I can see Thundercracker calling every one "Geeky" with that face.

Oh, so this works?? Good news! I was afraid the new head would be too large to fit in the old MP mold's tranformation. I'm totally doing this too. The new head is sooooo Starscream, but I'm not going to buy the Takara version after I already modded the legs on my Walmart version.

    Yay. :)

I'm greedy. I totally want to see the original MP-03 (Greenscream) with this new head.

fits on the ball joint no problem. you need to file down the inside of the back piece otherwise you will need to pop it off in order to transform it. if you compare the old mold and new mold you will see there is more clearance in the mp-11 than in the old mp-3. you can however shave some plastic without it harming the alt-mode. i am not near the figures to take a pic, but if no one can put one up i can show you a comparison later. tonight.

Yeah, it sounds like it'll be easy to figure out once I have them both in hand. Damn, I can't wait for Thundercracker to arrive.

Well, if no one beats me to it, I'll see what I can do when my TC shows up. Should be Saturday.

I transformed my MP SS with TC head and sure enough you need to shave off some material for the head to clear the arch. It is really simple. Just shave off a little at a time and keep trying to push the head thru. I carved out everything and matched the natural curve of the arch. No pics. sorry.

The only thing I'll kind of miss will be MP03 Starscream's twisted smile. Of course, that smirk looks kind of awful, so I won't miss it that much. But the idea was nice. :p

Pulled my Skywarp out of storage. Picture posted in my first post.

The more I look at it, I love it. The head really looks more like Starscream and the gunmetal head on Thundercracker compliment his arms very well.
