OK so school finishes like... FOREVAR at 5.20pm on Friday this week when I walk out of my calculus final exam. So I'm considering ordering one of the variants of MP Screamer off BBTS to celebrate.

Now, I do like to get a fair amount of play out of my transformers (not like... smashing them into the ground or anything... but I do transform them a fair bit you know), and while I haven't actually broken one in years (except Classics Jetfire - but he took a shelf dive. Onto my desk. Ouch) I have been reading about the weaknesses that are rampant in the Screamer mold in the mp03 variant - you know, stress marks on the wing hinges, on the tail transformation joint etc etc.

Anyway before I decide which of HasbroScream or Skywarp to get (I don't really mind either way) I have to ask whether any of the new variants have fixed the problems inherent in GreenScream wiuth regards to mold weakness? And which one seems more... strong as it were?

Anyway I'm sure someone out there will understand what I'm asking

PS. This isnt a "which one do I get thread" so don't say get both! (or I just might damnit!)

I don't own MP-03 or Skywarp, but I am also a frequent transformer and can definitely vouch for Hasbro MP Starscream. He is a more delicate mold than, say, MP-01, but I certainly never feel like I'm going to break him. From what I've read, it sounds like Skywarp is about the same. MP-03 was the lame duck.

hasbro mp ss feels sturdier than mp skywarp. but this is very subjective.

The Hasbro mold is better than both MP3 & MP6 IMO.

i wouldnt say better, considering the MP have more precise paint apps and harper details (e.g. the tail fin tip), but the hasbro mold feels more fiddle-able.

huh?! Are'nt they the same exact mould/mold? Maybe you are referring to quality of plastic?

I think he's referring to the build quality.

IMHO the plastic used on Hasbro's version seems a lot more durable.

OK so the answer is HasbroScream is of the sturdier/moreplay friendly construction. Ordered it and it should be here some time next week (and at a steal too - EVEN with the BBTS mega mark up the exchange rate means I get him for like... half of what it cost to buy MP01 here!)

    Anyway thanks for your responses!
