Hello all, here's my 2nd crack at Mirage. this one is based on the actual Ford F1 car that the G1 toy was. I also crafted G1 styled weaponsand included an MP Prime shot for scale.

    Let me know your thoughts!

I see the legs and head from Skids and the arms from Sideswipe. I'm assuming you didnt even bother using parts from Alt Mirage? Top notch work

Thanks very much people. I appreciate all of the comments and interest.

The car kit used is a Tamiya 1/20 scale Ford F1 Ligier. The 1/20 scale is perfect for the alternator parts used. Which, as Abrogate said, did NOT include any Alt Mirage parts.

I used, alt Skids head/legs, alt sideswipe arms/shoulders, alt Prime waist, torso, and hood hinge, and the rest of the parts are scratchbuilt styrene and metal pieces.

It's pretty durable but I'd just like to find a way to really strengthen the F1 side panels (with the large "Citanes" written on them). Since those are the obvious parts to grab when pulling out the shoulders they should be bulletproof and the ones on this custom are super-glued on. They're strong but probably not bulletproof.

    Thanks again peeps. :D
