MP Mirage + Box V2.0 - LAST DAY

I'm auctioning off my 2nd MP Mirage prototype this week if anyone's interested.

I'm almost done with the final version. Mostly, just tweaks and small enhancements have been achieved like the wheels being more accurate and the fit being tighter. But it's coming along.

A custom of beauty. Too bad it is out of my range. You are a credit to kitbashers.

Dude, that is insane! I will NEVER be able to afford that sucker. He's already at 300. You're gonna make quite a bit of cash from that thing.

The VERY first Mirage I did was a modified Dead End and that had a cool bot mode but a car mode that looked super-deformed. A year and a half later I did the prototype of this version (auctioned back inDecember) that was the first one to have an accurate F1 car mode. That first prototype had smaller (inaccurate) rear wheels and less detail. The decals and paint apps were not of this quality and the fit was not as tight.

Thanks for the compliments and support everyone.

Best Alt custom EVER. I remember when you posted the first one, and I forgot to bid on it. :(  Hey, do you mind taking some pictures of that Wheeljack?

Your work, and especially the Mirage, should really serve as a model for Hasbro/Takara... the overly convoluted transformation of the Alternators aren't always necessary.

The Mirage you've constructed has nice articulation and classic styling, while not really deviating much at all from the original transformation scheme. It's simple, functional, stylish... love it.
