I have MP megatron - but one dissapointing aspect is the incorrect scale of his fusion canon when in bot mode.

Does anyone know if an aftermarket replacement has been created to remedy this (genuine or KO)

I have looked around the web but havent found anything.

    Not aware of one.

I would agree the scale doesn't match the cartoon well, but I think it is reasonably close to the original toy's scale. The thing is heavy though. It would be nice to be able to pose him with his arm raised to fire instead of always at his side.

I don't think there is one in existence yet. I think I remember seeing where someone was going to make one smaller, however it escapes me if that was real or I imagined it.

It is, however, in scale with the original toy and how it's scope was.

As far as I now, a smaller MP Megatron cannon has been made.

Thanks - I may have to look at kitbashing something together. Dont mind if its not in scale with G1 megs - as long as it looks good.

I agree. Even if its not accurate in gun mode, I just want the cannon to be very toon accurate in bot mode. You can just switch it out with the original for gun/robot modes.

Mine will go out in front, and stay for a bit, but after a couple hours or a day it may start slumping down.

It's kinda like trying to get MP starscream to stand without his stand with his stabilizers out behind him. You can do it, but vibrations from walking across the room, breathing, the turning of the earth are liable to knock him over unexpectedly.

I had the same problem with my MP Megatron's arm not supporting the cannon's weight. I didn't like the size of the cannon either. I also was not happy about the thin legs, fragile feel of the figure, and lack of a bicep swivel. There were so many poses I could think of that he couldn't do.
So I sold it, and bought the Revoltech Megatron, with the cash, which I like much better. He looks much more cartoon accurate, and none of the problems of the MP version. Also had enough from the sell to get the Relovtech Rodimus, Starscream, Ultra Magnus, and Optimus/Convoy. I've had much more fun, and am much happier with those.
