Where do you predict the diecast content will be located on MP-05? Personally I wonder how much it can have, due to the figures thin legs and arms. I bet most diecast will be found on the legs and feet of the figure, much like the original Megatron toy. I like lots of diecast on my toys, so I hope that i'm wrong.

My guess is the lower legs (gun grip) and the chest. The weight distributed that way should keep him balanced.

Id also say the barrell. In robot mode the extra weight my help offset the mass of the fusion cannon/

Most likely in the legs...cant imagine it being on the upper body that much, maybe on his chest hull.

I'm guessing the legs, feet, and maybe the upper body. Probably not the arms due to the weight issues.

If they're gonna use any diecast, hopefully they'll put it in the legs/feet...I'd think he may be too top heavy without it. Plus, I'd just plain like to see some diecast in him.

Probably just the legs and chest. Considering the size of the fusion cannon/scope, putting any in the arms would be incredibly stupid.

I reckon it will be the upper legs, inner arms, chest, feet and non-black gun handle. He's going to need a fair bit of weight toward the bottom to keep him standing properly. Also, as MM said, possibly the gun barrel (although even with the size of the fusion cannon that might be too much metal towards the back).

Wouldn't it suck if it was just the scope/fusion cannon that was die cast?

    Actually, that could be funny.

"Prepare to die, Optimus Prime! ... If you could just, maybe, come over here and lay down on the ground. I can't quite seem to keep my arm raised. It's okay, it'll just take a second. Please?"

Technically, if you had a good Ironhide figure, you could make an accurate scene... but that's about it... Maybe he could walk around with a mirror on his foot to deflect it straight ahead.
