    Ooooo.

I want that soooo bad... Grimlock is such an original character. I hope we see a live-action adaptation with him.

No money, though. Darn. Does anyone know if they have released or will release a MP Soundwave?

Absolutely gorgeous! I hope Hasbro decide to release a cheaper version here in the west, but if I have to spend a crapload of cash on this guy... so be it! :p

Although I'm sad to see they gave him anime blue eyes, rather than red...

Nothing has been confirmed, but they are looking into finding a good place in one of the lines to release him in. Personally I think there is little chance they won't bring him over. Dino's have done well over here for quite some time now.

Grimlock looks awesome, though I'll be waiting for the inevitable Hasbro release. Hopefully at least that one will come with the crown.

I asked this in another thread about MP Grimlock, but don't believe that anyone has answered me.

When, and by whom, was it confirmed that Grimmy would be coming without the crown?

It wasn't. In fact, there is a photo of the prototype with a crown.

besides importing costs, the reason a takara release would be more exspensive is workmanship... look at classics versu henkei...and everything else both hasbro and takara make, id rather have the japanese verion of a high end figure any day...you do get what you pay for

I agree about takara runs better

2 of the biggest characteristics of a us release in the past has been less chrome and "safer" wussier looks. I could see less chrome and rounding of parts like the dino claws or I sure hope not the teeth. I just can't see hasbro improving it, other than cost.
