    Rubberized? You can't make a Transformer entirely out of rubber! It's impossible!

    CEO of Hasbro: Let's sell MP Grimlock in America, but make him entirely out of rubber!

    Everybody else in Hasbro:...THAT'S BRILLIANT!
    Me::lolol

    Anywho, news of an American MP release wil be revealed at BotCon, is that correct? if they say there is going to be a Hasbro MP release, they'll tell who it'll be, right?

    Is it true that Grimlock would be the most likely to get a Hasbro release? Some people said that.

    i think that's what was said in a Q&A one one of the boards, but i could be mistaken, i think the question was will we ever see mp grimlock released over here, then hasbro with their magic 8 ball response of all signs point to yes

    I sincerely doubt they'll modify the mold, in any way.

    These are geared more towards collectors, and not kids.

    In fact, Starscream's fingers are definite choking hazards and they kept them.

    So some snappy teeth and claws shouldn't be a problem.

    They shortened Optimus' smokestacks and rounded off MP Starscreams fin tips. A lot of things go into testing a toy, SS's fingers would not be a problem and here's why. They do a drop test, if a kid drops it, what pieces would break off and would pose a threat(choking, ect.). Secondly, if a kid is running and falls on the toy, will it puncture the skin or put the eye out. Some parts are more scrutinized than others.

    I only buy American Masterpiece figures due to finances. It costs too much. And with this economy a Japanese Masterpiece is out of my price range. I'm only a middle-class American. I don't have the money to get things shipped directly overseas, and neither do my parents. We only do that on small occasions.

    If MP Grimlock does get an American release, how different do you think he'll be from the Japanese version? I think he'll probably have plastic teeth, and instead of gold, he'll have yellow. BTW, I have a question. Aren't Japanese MP figures made entirely out of die-cast metal? I have 20th Anniversary DVD Edition Optimus Prime, and it's not completely metal, but Japanese MP figures appear to be. Now, I don't own any Japanes MP figures, but I'm assuming they're entirely die-cast. Is that correct?

    no thet are not. 20th dvd prime is a stripped version of 20th anniversary prime (the one made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of transformers). it is identical to the MP-01 convoy except with battledamage paint and shorter stacks, has the same amount of die cast as the MP-01 (doors and legs). it is the version i got....the dvd prime is an all plastic version

    if the masterpieces were entirely die cast they would be EXTREMELY heavy, and pretty much unable to stand.....there is no transformer made of comepletely die cast, it just would cost too much money and would be just a giant brick

    I just bought MP Grimlock and he barely has any die-cast. He is very light, I will lighter than Leader OP from the first Movie.

    And I don't expect chrome paint on Hasbro's toys.

    @guard convoy: My DVD Prime has metal on his chest and his legs. But, thatnks for clearing the diecast thing up for me.

    @SimonMK: Lighter than Movie 1 leader Prime?!? Holy shit.
