Not bad so far. He's looking a bit lanky for Bruticus though. Need to buff him up somehow.

kewl... I'm plaaning to use classic "astrotrain" as "blast off" and voyager "blackout" as "vortex"... wasn't sure on the legs, but indeed "blungeon" can to mind, just experimenting and pondering on a good "swindle"?? prime will be onslaught :D

    yours look very cool!!!

Looks awesome so far, but I do agree that he is a bit on the skinny side. Is there any way to split the torso and crotch kibble and widen him by an inch or two? I think it would make a HUGE difference.

ill see what i can do. one of the problems of using voyager figs for arms is that they're too heavy. but ill try to widen the torso a bit

If you brace the split with heavy duty styrene or even thin metal it should support the weight the same as you have it now. If I can help with the engineering, let me know.... I had to do this same thing on the Menasor I am using Human Alliance figures to build. The limbs become VERY heavy.

I have been thinking about this project all night. My creative juices were flowing. Please do send me some close up pics of the torso cavity that Onslaught sits in.... I have some crazy ideas to help widen him!

    I'm liking it so far.
A bit skinny. But should look really good.
I made mine out of voyager molds too.
I used unicrons elbows to support the shoulders.
    Worked really well.
Can't wait to see it finished.

    very cool update!!!
for suggestions, what if you added some panels just to the left and right sides of his crotch?it may help make him a wee bit more proportional.maybe even a bit more small pieces to cover the last little bit of the thin part of the joint that used to be unicrons shoulder joint.
the hardest part is not going overboard with the "beefing up" part.
being the first person who used voyager molds for the combaticons was a learning experience in itself.i ended up beefing him up lots, only to remove lots again because of huge weight and stability issues:mad .
from looking at this beast you got going on so far,it looks like you've solved and improved on those issues.
any thoughts on if you have plans for the combiner parts when they're not forming the big brute?

Looks so much better, but what about bulking up the sides of his torso and thighs? In these areas:

I think it would give him the Brutish and more hulking appearance that Bruticus emanates. I think you have one hell of a cool project going on here! I am LOVING it!
