hey...where did all these pro MP Acid Storm people come from! In the announcement thread, no one was liking it. I liked my chances of getting him! He looks deliciously toxic green. Bought.

 

The color saturation on Acid Storm is insane.

Which one is the real color? I hope it is the lighter camo green and NOT the neon green one.

 

Hasbro's MP Acid Storm saves having to try and find an I-Gear version (PP03R Rainforest). That will be a ton of savings.

Acid Storm looks good, but pass. I just want Skywarp in that mold now.

 

Because he's waiting 6 months to save $200 on a scalper-bait toy he is absolutely going to get his hands on for retail?

That said, i think TRU Soundwave looks promising... now lets see it without the photoshopping.

Oh no wait. Lets automatically declare victory for everyone who decided to wait, and loss for everyone who didn't.

 

I realize it is toy accurate, but I would prefer the red visor. Oh well, good thing I still have some red paint lying around.

 

Really hope the neon one is the actual release. That's really sharp. If it's the yellow-y one I doubt I'll get it. That Green just grabs me.

There's no need for that, man  . This is one of those situations when collectors should be celebrating the fact that they have options. I went with the more expensive Takara version and that was my choice. I don't regret it. And I'm not going to put down the U.S. release or those that plan on purchasing it. If anything, I'm happy for everyone in this situation.

Seeing as I've still never seen a Masterpiece Optimus Prime at a TRU in the United States I'm having a hard time getting excited.

 

I'm hoping FOR the neon green.

What I'm not hoping for is the green canopy. Makes getting more than one to make the repaint of the Rainmakers a wash. If true then it's off to get more Thundercrackers… *sigh*

 

Can't you just order it online?
