Forget the armor. The companies are trying to dump the idea of that carrier by releasing many Magnus without armor. If the rumor from the other side of the world is true Rodimus/Hot Rod will not get the trailer for his MP treatment as well. Why go against the companies' decision?

 

What rumor would this be, exactly?

Because as human beings, our interests are not dictated by a couple of toy companies?

I wouldn't buy a simple white Prime if it came with a hooker.

Anyway, I must confess that I fail to appreciate the intrinsic appeal of this item. I'm just checking out this thread to see about any new-MP hints. Rodimus is old news, but I wasn't expecting to see UM. Just a thematically appropriate choice...or another hint?

I like the clear trailer. But don't see how it goes with the dead Prime figure.

Only one of those is new product though, the other doesn't say that, suggesting a repaint or rerelease.

They could do an armoured Magnus but it won't be this year.

 

Im betting we get a MP HOT ROD (Not Rodimus) as the new one and either MP Roddy or Prime in crystal plastic to go with the other Crystal sets that are part of 2010.

Can't say I'd be too interested in a Masterpiece Hot Rod unless he comes with a trailer for a Rodimus Prime conversion.

I will display dead Prime horizontally in his opened Trailer. I would have preferred static on his wrist communicators. That Hot Rod image gives me more chills than Sleep Convoy.   I hope Reprolabels comes up with a good battle damage set. Cracks for the facemask, windows and something more for the waist.

BTW, If I didn't already know about TROOP, I could never have purchased this piece.

Update, My Sleep Convoy arrived today 1 July 2010!
