The first half of headmasters hardly counts as “many cartoon series” beyond their series of origin, but by that logic many beast wars characters appeared in one more series than g1 Magnus and rodimus, there was beast wars, beast wars metals and beast wars returns

 

Ok now considering the context of the post I quoted, remove all of the hot rods/rodimus primes that are not from cartoons (considering the post I quoted specifically said “many more cartoon series” and then you should also probably remove any of them that didn’t originate in takara produced material considering masterpiece is a takara line. So my point still stands, the only cartoon series G1 ultra Magnus and hot rod/rodimus prime have been in are transformers 2010 (season 3) and the headmasters for the first half

 

That's a lot of conditions to make your point stick.

My bad, I initially read that as just "series."

 

I thought Rodimus Prine and Hotrod are interchangeable. My bad.

 

They are fairly interchangeable, but g1 hot rod/rodimus prime and ultra Magnus have only been in g1 season 3/transformers 2010 and the rebirth (if you count 3 episodes as a series and take hasbro into consideration) and headmasters. Outside of that different versions of those characters have been in the following cartoons

Rid 01 ultra Magnus (not car robots god Magnus is different and not the g1 version)
Energon rodimus (not g1)
Animated rodimus and ultra Magnus (not g1)
Prime ultra Magnus (not g1)
Machinima prime wars trilogy rodimus prime/hot rod (kind of sorta g1 but I wouldn’t count it since I’m pretty sure takara hasn’t released the machinima series)

And considering masterpiece hasn’t branched out of the g1 continuity it stands to reason that the ones I just listed don’t really apply to the conversation at hand

 

Not happening for me this time.   In this case it's:

1. New Reveal
2. Hype
10. Release
11. Figure is the best thing since sliced bread and all that and a bag of chips!

A very rare occurrence for me, but it happens nonetheless.   I already know and expect this to be expensive, and accept it. I also have nothing else to complain about as TT seems to have done a fine job on this one. Then again, it's pretty hard to screw this design up to begin with. I live the original BW Megatron, and this one is only going to be much, much better.

 

Much like Primal, Megatron can take full advantage of 22 years of toy refinements without needing to be a reinvented wheel.

I was pointing this out and @Ikkstakk made a joke about it. Someone was saying Takara or people in Japan are not all that interested in Transforming Dinosaurs. But since Dinobot and Megatron seem to be releasing the same year, Terrorsaur is the only Dinosaur not made and I think it's just to get all Dinosaurs over with. Plus I pointed out both Dinobot, Megatron and Terrorsaur were scanned for alternate modes in the first episode in the same order. Ikkstakk then said Terrorsaur was confirmed as MP44, lol.

 

It's a joy to say, it's a perfect rhyme: forty-four... Terrorsaur... go ahead, try saying it out loud! It's delightful! Trips right off the tongue!

It doesn't rhyme in Japanese does it?

 

I would love Terrorsaur to be next, but I don't think that's how it works.

 

There's a simple reason why Terrorsaur isn't one of the dinosaurs being made - because his alt mode is not a dinosaur.
