Thank you gents. I never use gift cards so it was unknown to me. I'm assuming that if the price goes even lower, a GC will be issued to me by amazon for the difference?

I always use my CC for my purchases, since I'm a mile points whore, but this works just the same. And yes, quite convenient too.

The price won't get any lower and even if it does, Amazon will issue the difference.

Here’s hoping even a 500 Yen discount can work

If you print money you probably buy every legends, deluxe, Voyager, leader, masterpiece, and 3rd party figure.

Now now . Not everyone has the need to shop outside of the U.S. Folks are free to choose where or who they want there money to go to. Granted AJ may have the best price , but other retailers offer incentives . There’s a reasons these places are still in business. And it’s not due to the “ insane “ shoppers lol.

I will have to buy it through a US based retailer... It will be "cheaper" for me due to customs and shipping...

I should have clarified my context further. No one sane in the USA will buy this at the NA retailers given the presence of Amazon JP. I didn't say they were not free to do so. But seriously, why do someone in the USA want to:
    1. Pay a higher price. 30% higher
    2. Receive it slower.

Please list the "incentives". Easy free return, Amazon JP does it. I agree there are reasons these places are still in business buy they might not be rational. People do realize Amazon JP is STILL an American business right? It's not a franchise or anything.

I truly fail to understand the brain gymnastics one has to go trough in order to justify it if you are in the US. I simply can't. I've tried, I just can't.

    What incentive is better than:

    Great CS

Faster than Flash shipping and Handling

    CHEAPER PRICE.

    VS,

    MUH 000.1 % rewards???

    :banghead:

I feel for my int'l collector brothers that can't enjoy the marvel that is Amazon JP.

Did I mention cheaper price? I did? Oh. Ok.

I feel like the number 1 reason people fall back on is: They are not sure (or for some reason worried about the idea) how to order from a Japanese based retailer (which in Amazon Japan's case is not even accurate but still).

    Edited for clarity...

It's way easier than Taobao that's for sure. Give it a shot using Chrome browser to translate, you won't regret it.

Oh trust me I have been using Japanese stores (and now Amazon Japan as long as they offer shipping to Canada) for years now. That was a general statement. Also Amazon Japan has its own translate at the bottom of the page (that works a lot better than Chrome translate).

How many of us do you think are Japanese speakers? You can use Google Chrome with Auto Translate. Again, this is Amazon. Forget the JP part. You make a mistake, you can reverse it. Only thing you want to watch out for is sometimes it's Amazon 3rd party selling it, but it won't allow you to place the order anyway.

We are here to help you if you need help.
