Excep fed ex. Doesn't matter how early your package gets to your state or how close it is, they keep it until the day its supposed to be delivered.

I may actually jynx myself now, but I have actually had decent luck with USPS. I have had UPS open my package before and then try to cover it up and fedex hold onto things for days.

I agree with Ambitron. I told a friend about this issue and they let me take a look their figure so I could show the break area that people are bringing up. I believe there are some minor tolerance difference between copies people have. Mine had no issue when I rotated the piece, but my buddies started stressing as soon as the part was rotated. The part was rotated the same way for both figures, but their copy took more to rotate and stress marks were starting to show. One modification later (thanks to Ambi's post) and this issue does not pop up.

I'd like a 3P IDW-style head for Sunstreaker since I mainly collect CHUG and use MP's of certain characters so that I'd have less mold-mates in my collection.

Brilliant! One of my favourite episodes as a kid. I do remember being perplexed and a little disappointed that Jazz (being a Porsche race car) wasn't included in this race.

Thanks, bud! And yeah, totally feel you. Mirage, too! Bumblebee and maybe even Bluestreak could've been swapped out in that ep for Jazz and Mirage.

Sunstreaker really turned out better than I could have ever imagined him. When I got Sideswipe five years ago I assumed his Lambro would be right around the corner - ha! The wait was well worth it ;)

Is it strange that I’m careful twisting the one part carefully and seeing it doesn’t break? Does everyone actually fix that square peg?

I've transformed the shit out of mine already before even hearing about that potential breakage point, and I haven't had any signs of it wanting to break on me.

It's possible that the screw is just cranked a bit too tight on some copies, reducing the potential flex of that plastic part.

I've transformed mine a bunch and don't see any stress marks so far.

My second Sunstreaker is about to call me out for abuse and I haven't noticed any issues. I've kept an eye out ever since Maz started posting pictures about it.

I doubt a tight screw will be the ultimate cause - it's a squarish peg turning in a squarish hole, so it's going to put stress throughout the part regardless. I suppose a tighter screw might exacerbate it, though.

I also transformed mine a bunch of times without any issue. I decided to mod it so that it turned smoothly just in case, though - now I know I can transform him over and over again and not worry about that piece stressing over time. He's so fun to transform that I don't want to have to worry about any piece of it. :)

That sucks. I just transformed mine. I'm gonna leave him in bot mod from now on.

It's the grey female connector that lets the backpack rotate for transformation. I took mine apart and looked inside. I saw some stress marks but no cracks. I don't think the marks will develop into cracks(cross fingers). What I suggest is not leaving the backpack at an angle for a long time. For example, when transforming to robot mode, you rotate the backpack 180 degrees. At every 30 or 60 degree or so interval, you'll feel the backpack stop. This is because the female joint works as a hexagonal or octagonal detent socket. While the male joint is shaped like a square, hence the more resistance at angles.

I have yet to mod mine but mine doesn't feel like it will crack for a longtime
