The white paint on the legs tended to chip off easily, some even straight out of the box. Other than that, it's the same as MP-1 quality wise.

One of the feet on mine pop off easily, but apart from that its fine. The Chest even lines up properly, unlike my MP-1.

If you wait long enough, they'll probably release one with armor

Do you think so? I dunno... I mean, it made sense to re-release Prime with a trailer (though it should have been called MP-01B instead of MP-04) and to eventually re-release Megatron with a silencer & stock, but I always got the impression that their lame white repaint dubbed as Ultra Magnus was released more out of easy convenience than actually attempting to make a MP version of that character.

With MP-05 on the horizon and several valid repaint options on the current MP-03 seeker mold, I'd actually be quite surprised if Magnus ever got a proper re-release. The trailer alone could go for $100.00 USD since it would have to be HUGE *and* transform to accomodate the MP-02 mold. That just seems crazily excessive. If does happen, however, I'll of course be all over it. But until then, I'm still gonna hold off on getting Albino Prime since he doesn't fit in with the rest and is technically only 1/2 of the Magnus character.

If a fan can make one that works and can sell it for $600, I would imagine a toy company with a full-on factory could mass-produce one that would be close to mp-04's price tag.. maybe slightly over $200 for the trailer and the cab.

Yes, thats what I was thinking. It's possible to do a very cool Magnus. The question is would they bother. I hope they do.

MP-2 defective? The chrome's not fabulous on the stacks, a little chipped on one lower leg out of the box, one slightly weak knee; other than that, mine's fine.
