    Someone several posts earlier noted that TFsource never actually shipped their copies back to TT for fixing, they simply said they did when in reality TFSource did the fixes themselves. There was no recall by Takara. That said, no other retailer claimed to have shipped their Ramjets back to Takara for any reason.

    I don't think any of the online retailers would have, they received these through hasbro Asia not Takara. Takara customer service is non existent on the other side of the pacific. I think somewhere in this thread someone got a bum one and TT replaced it but he was located in Japan. So it find it highly unlike they did TFSource a solid. It would have been more believable ir they said Hasbro Asia offered to let them correct them

    It sucks that there is no Takara customer service for the rest of us in the US/Europe/Australia.

    Think it has to do with Hasbro and licensing more than anything.

    yeah seriously fuck that. $180 is $180, whether you can afford it or not it's the principle of the matter. are you honestly happy with how this was handled and how your toy is a clusterfuck?

    Thanks for the reply's I'm considering purchasing this MP but I wanted some feedback from TFSource buyers.

    The free shipping from TFSource plus my wife has some TFSource points on her account (most likely from last Christmas) that I could use towards this purchase.

    So is the free shipping (Lets say $9 +/- BBTS) plus about $7 in TFS points worth the risk getting it from them or spend the extra $16 to get it from BBTS?

    I use TFS, TCP, BBTS and TF-Direct. I trust them all, but prefer TFS and TCP since they offer free shipping. Easy resolution to issues, as well.

    Personally, I would go TFS. But, that's a risk for you to take.

    Is TFSource the only place to buy this and get free shipping? Just curious.

    Only speaking for myself, but I figure people are more likely to post negative rather than positive experiences, so;

    My Ramjet from TFSource was fine. In fact, in my case, it appears my guy was above par, with tight joints all around, no incorrect parts (possibly part of The Mystery Fix) and perfect paint apps.

    It turns out the BB7 Ramjet is going to be based off the modified MP11 mold that ToyMecha was planning to use for their conehead seekers. I may wait and see how that turns out.

    The Chosen Prime and Captured Prey, as well. I think TF-Direct does, too.

    So I am very late to this party. I ordered my MP Ramjet from BBTS way back when and I only recently had him shipped. I finally had some time to break him out tonight. In a word: AWESOME!!

    I love the design and my copy is pretty good: solid joints, pieces peg in fine, he is great. I don't detect any of the QC issues that others have identified. My package and clamshell were great. I am a big ramjet fan, he was my first seeker toy as a kid. I held off on buying the 3p MP level cone heads while I waited for an official MP Ramjet and I am glad that I waited. This one fills the gap in my collection and is totally awesome!

    Are the the current, newly acquired copies better qc-wise than the initial copies? Are they just as good as bb7 Skywarp?
