I don't know for sure.... I think the Black Rodimus is base on the 2nd version of the regular Rodimus. Just happend to suffer to soft of plastic for the knees... Someone with more knowlage of this figure should respond before you make a decision to buy him. My BRP is pretty sweet now that he has better knees. Was his only weekness I felt..

BBTS has a bunch of damaged MP-09B's on clearance for $100. From what I remember, most of them have the same leg break.

Are we still looking at the possibility of offering replacement knees? I had a dude who casts custom/replacement parts that said he could make us some but I haven't heard back from him in weeks. MMM, if it's still a cost effective issue know that I'd be interested in buying at least three pairs of replacement knees for all of my MP Rodimi.

I'm pulling for you guys to get this sorted. When not broken this mold rocks. Hell, if I know there are replacement parts available I might take the plunge myself. The price is dropping at the same rate that MP Sideswipe's is rising.

^Nice, I haven't transformed mine and barely moved the knees to pose him, but I would probably take a set just in case if someone does cast them.

It's probably worth PMing MMM to say that you've heard he's doing this and that you're interested if you haven't done so already (with the caveat that he's not doing it right now, but when he gets to it)

I couldn't get the teeth on the spring ratchet side to work as they are too small, but the spring holds it tight enough without them. The other side ratchets like normal. It may look a little rough but it works great, and you don't really see it anyway.

I'm charging $10 a pair for these, PM if you want a set. When you install these be aware that you may have to ream out the holes a TINY bit with a knife, you don't want just force these on, that's what made the originals break in the first place. They should pivot easily but you don't want them loose either.

I got my replacement knees from MMM in too and they get the job done. I'll parrot him suggesting trimming the hole a bit. I'll also add not tightening the screws all the way to give the joints a little bit of slack.

So I've heard they are too tight on one and too loose on a couple others. Should I make the top hole a little smaller and/or make that part with the hole a little wider? I think too tight is better than too loose since too tight can be shaved down to fit.

Just got mine and the left knee joint chipped right out of the box :lol  The spoiler connector doesn't want to tab in either.

    :/

Otherwise this looks to be a great figure.
