Me = still waiting for Hasbro release.

 

Seems like it's not worth it anymore to buy these on release as it seems now there's always a second release and with fixes. Oh well...

 

If the Hasbro version isn't out by the time this is released, I'll consider getting one. Maybe just see if I get it for Christmas. Either way, it's good to know that they'll be fixing it up a bit as the current one seems to have a handful of issues, and that (along with the price) is why I've held off on it so far. Hopefully the Hasbro version will also be an improved version.

 

I am glad they are addressing these quality issues, but I will still hold out for the Hasbro release. My main reason for even considering putting out $200 was for the trailer which won't be on the US version. But after seeing all the video reviews, the trailer turned out to be the deal breaker for me instead. Although the battle station mode may give it some redeeming qualities, the space winnebago mode is definitely lacking...

 

I received the same information from some wholesalers in Japan as well, but there was no mention of any improvements to the figure. They've re-released other MPs before without resolving any issues so don't get your hopes up.

 

Hmmm... I have an MP-09 in my Pile of Loot at BBTS. Should I cancel and wait for the new version?

 

Quality control fixes are nice and all, but I just can not warrant that much money on a MP. Sure they are nice and all, and I'd really like to pick one up, but $200 is just nuts.

Yeah. I'm wondering the same thing. Although I'm pretty sire the answer is no in my case since it's been there since it was released.

might have to get it now unless not devestator comes out around the same time then i will be 100% not buying this  

 

I tried to cancel an item in my POL...to get something similar. They would only take it back if with a 20% restocking fee (!?!)

Was trying to save both of us the shipping costs / time (them sending, me returning). Anyhow, I just kept the original (cheaper) item and canceled the new preoder (more expensive).

 

Except that I have extensive modding/bashing experience=material identity, data (internet posts and threads containing pics and claims of breakage to support my point and your have, well, conjecture I guess.... but sure, whatevs.

 

That's because an item in your POL is an already purchased product and NOT a pre-order. They just hold on to it for you at your request.

 

I just wish that the first release was good enough so that they wouldn't have to make us buy two to make sure the he wouldn't break in my own hands(especially for two hundred dollars)

I love the note that says they won't accept returns on the original for this figure  

They should call it MP-09F "Fixed" version.

They're using the term "updated", are they implying improvement or repair? Does BBTS know something that we don't know?
