Hi there I'm interested in buying an mp-09 Rodimus. I see that he's around 120 online, so should I buy it, or can I get one here for a better price?
    thanks!

USD 120, where? If you can find it for that much, it's the first version.

Cheapest I could find, without shipping, is 160something USD at hlj.com. Robotkingdom is similar.

US retailers have him for closer to 200 USD.

    1) Probably. Especially if it's for one already outside Asia.

    2) A large chunk of that difference will probably be eaten by additional shipping costs.

Sorry, but the odds of getting a defect free MP9 for 120 are fairly slim.

When somebody is talking about MP-Xx it's about a japanese version, US ones don't have a numbering system.

Funny thing about the US version of, well, everybody except Skywarp, is that while the price is low for such a figure (59-69 USD?), EVERYBODY scalps them like crazy and the price shoots to +30-40 USD.

Unless you have somebody to directly hook you up with one with no extra costs.

BBTS has two used MP-01 first run Rodimus' for $120... that's about the only US online store that I've seen it that cheap.

I didn't think the first edition one was as bad as everybody says. Once I tightened up the backpack with futureshine floor polish, it felt like a very sturdy figure. Since it looks a lot nicer than the U.S. version and has nicer elbow joints, I think it is at least nicer than that version.
