    Hi There,

We have heard some rumors that the next master piece collection could be MP-07 SoundWave with Rumble and Frenzy also included. We don't know if this true or not yet , but would be a great addition to the master piece line..Can anyone confirm this yet ?? We are waiting official confirmation from Takara and only then should we begin to get excited !!!:p

I'd love to have this! If this is true, I would definitely buy Starscream as well as Skywarp. I'd like to have all of the S1 'Cons MP'ed up. When will we get more 'Bots though? I thought good guys sold better in Japan?? We have Prime and Magnus.

Where did your rumours come from? Not the internets I hope. :p

Also, I tthought the majority accepted rumour was that Grimlock woudl be the next Masterpiece toy...

I refuse to get excited this early but HOLY SHIT YES PLEASE!!!!

I'd prefer Lazerbeak and Ravage to the pile-drivers but still...

    PLEASE DEAR LORD BE TRUE!

That's awesome if it's true. Hopefully if it is, Hasbro brings it here to the US :D .

Yeah, at Botcon 06 one of the designers told us he would love to do a masterpiece Grimlock. I wouldn't mind a Soundwave at all though.

This is probably because Music Label soundwave was a big seller.
I'd prefer Grimlock myself, huge diecast mecha T-rex FTW!

All I can say is he'd better be as tall as Prime and Megs and not a midget like the seekers.

Yap. The logical release would be Thundercracker but holy cow if they ever produced MP Soundwave he should at least have Laserbeak, Ravage and Rumble. Yep I remember the previous rumor about MP Grimlock but if its Soundwave...move over Grimlock!

    QFT!

Although, given how much open space he would have in the chest area and the relative size of the cassettes, I'm sure they could probably squeeze in all 5 of his original minions. Besides his shoulder cannon, ion blaster, missiles(maybe) and a pair of non-working headphones, what other accessories could you possibly want for him?

I'd gladly take him over Grimlock any day, even with half the stuff I just mentioned.

I'd rather have an MP Grimlock. Hell, I'd buy two MP Grimlocks just so I could paint one of them blue (ie the G2 colors).

But what would he turn into?

The original toy was a microcassette player and really was in the correct scale in alternate mode. Would he be a boombox or would he be an oversized microcasette player?

Soundwave is cool, but since we've been getting a huge wave of soundwave toys, I am getting a bit tired of seeing soundwave...don't get me wrong, I like him...I would just like to see something new...grimlock is cool....i guess...

if this were true, i think it'd be pretty tight if they could introduce a "shrink" transformation. where a large MP sized robot could become a smaller cassette player. that'd be nutz!!

Soundwave's transformation really doesn't need Masterpiece updating, though. It's probably second only to Shockwave as the most toon-accurate Decepticon. Underwhelmed.

I'd rather see another Autobot first.

Makes sense. They can make more money with future Soundwave related MP toys (remaining tapes) at lower costs. Soundwave is also way more popular than Grimlock, and I don't think they're worried about the Autobot/Decepticon ratio in the MP line either.
