Does the packaging mention anything about having more die-cast parts?

I'd be really surprised if there was really more diecast, but we can hope.

    oh not this again...

I like this paint scheme more than the G1 TC paint scheme. Nice of them to take some freedom on a classic

I still don't believe that blue jet is a Thundercracker- the tailfins are not black.

Of course, considerable liberty has been taken with the color schemes of the other two, but it looks like MP-03.

Sweet. I hadn't noticed the pic w/ the stickers. I am a huge sucker for G1 accuracy and that seems to do it for me.

    Again, I am sooooo glad I pre-ordered.

Skywarp's tailfins are not Purple, but it is still Skywarp. I think that really is a preview of TC there, the one on the left looks like MP-03 to me, just kinda hard to tell because of the lighting

I look forward to having the three original seekers in my collection (getting Hasbro's Starscream) but I hope TC doesn't come out until next year. I can't afford another $100 Transformer this year.

Well there seems to be a 6-month gap with MPs, Hasbro's not withstanding, so you're in the clear. Whether MP-7 is going to be Thundercracker though is more dubious. So far, the odd MPs (1,3,5) have been original molds, 2 and 6 are repaints and 4 is a rerelease + trailer. A pattern isn't clearly established, but it's not impossible for a new mold for 7 and T-cracker as 8 (so, in a year). But who knows? >.> I wonder where they draw the line?

The picture on the box--the one with the 3 jets--is a photoshopped image of three real F-15's in flight, with Decepticon colours/logos added. I saw it months ago on the net.

Do you have a link to the image or it saved on your computer? I imagine that Skywarp is at least the real thing in that picture.

With that much photoshopping it'd be hard to tell, since the MP seekers differ from real F-15's by much more than mere coloration.

LOL, when I saw MP SS, I wanted a Skywarp, badly.

After all the reviews of MP SS, and with some time, I'm very lukewarm about this.

I'm sure that a lot of people would agree. But a recolor like Magnus, a retool like Skywarp, and a rerelease with a new part like MP-04 Convoy help pay for new figures like Megatron and the original Starscream. These figures have to be some of (if not the) most expensive and time consuming figures to produce and engineer. The decos and transformations are so intricate, the figures large, and the accessories plentiful, that Takara (and Hasbro) have to make as much money as possible off of these figures. So MP-02, MP-04, and now MP-06 all help to finance new mold figures. So perhaps MP-07 or MP-08 will be an all new mold figure due to the money earned off of these recolors/retools/rereleases.

Skywarp is beautiful. I hope to see more images of him soon either from magazines or e-Hobby.
