    The worst part of all this is, these people are artificially creating even more demand for the normal ones by hoarding a bunch to alter. That means prices for normal ones will skyrocket.

    Well, my main aim is just to report that difference.

    Personally, if I'm paying $100+ for a MISB toy, it had better be MISB; if a toy is opened that's "new," I expect to pay an open-box price reflecting that. If a toy is altered on top of being opened, the price should reflect that as well.

    I'm getting mine from Captured Prey myself. :thumb

    US law says it must be permanently attatched. So you can bet on glued in at the least. Me I would rather have it painted.

    I thought the blaze orange wasn't gonna happen since we found out he'll be packaged in Robot Mode.

    I have a cheap airsoft gun with a blaze orange flash suppressor.

    It comes right off with little effort.

    BBTS can go to hell. I'm not going to pay 100 dollars for people I don't know and don't trust to open megatron, glue a plug onto him, and cut away part of the tray he's in so he can fit in it with the plug. especially since I can get him a few dollars cheaper at other stores that won't even consider opening him. TFC-06 got into the country just fine for thousands of people, Megatron will be the same.

    I really thought that since it was shipping in robot mode, the orange tip wouldn't be an issue. How did authorities even find out about this? Maybe because BBTS got their preorders going too early, before we had actual photos of the figure? If all we knew at the start of preorders is that it would be a Walther P38, I can see how customs would not go for it. If they had waited and said "Oh, it's a robot," I don't think there would've been a problem...

    I've never ordered from anywhere besides BBTS, so I don't know which vendor is best. What do you guys suggest?

    I'm still not convinced this toy is going to be worth spending ~$100 on at all, altered or unaltered, but it's nice to have an update on where things stand.
