    Why was there all the uproar about "he looks like a gun" ... and now he ships in ROBOT mode? I believe there is no need for a plug or anything stupid like that.

    He looks awesome btw.

    It's been known for a while that he would ship in bot mode. Point is that it is a TOY that turns into a realistic (oversized) looking gun. That is where the safety aspect and legislation lies.

    The prices from MOST of us online stores are actually just about the same as the "MSRP" of 9800 Yen. Yes, some are more. But just like here in the US, Japan has stores that discount their prices to win business.

    I cancelled my hlj one and hit up ebay. A tad more expensive, but, assuming it makes it through customs, untipped :)
