Hello all. You might know me from another popualr TF website I use to work there as a news admin and shoot the occational gallery. Since leaving I haven't stopped shooting galleries, although I plan to broaden my horizons to non-Transformers galleries, such as Revoltech and so on. However there were a few old TF galleries originally intended for said website that I wanted to get posted first, plus I received MP-05 Megatron in the post yesterday.

Head over to My PBase galleries to see what I've been up to and sneak a peak at MP Megatron before the other sites get their galleries up.

Yowza! Great pics! (There's no cheating on those poses, is there? I.e., supports that were hidden or edited out?)

You've just ramped my anticipation up another 3 or 4 notches. (And I was already at eleven. ) Hurry up, Spencer!!

No, no cheating at all. He is surprisingly stable, owing mostly to his highly poseable diecast feet.

Wow, I didn't realize the sword separates from the hilt. That's a nice touch.

Question...how does the light up part work? I assume you don't have to hold a button down since there's no hand activating it in the picture. Is it an on/off switch, or does it just stay illuminated for a few seconds after you activate it?

Nice photos, but even this great photos don't make look good an ugly figure.

I think this is a toy made just for those nostalgics about G1 Megs.

Actually you do have to hold the button down, I used a little tape to hold it down for the picture. The scope is identical to the original G1 scope only about twice the size, the circular adjusting dial on the side of the scope is a push button that operates the light feature. It does have to be held down, although mine tend to stick in the on position from time to time, I don't think this was intentional tho.

Hot dam! Those are some very nice poses. Best poses to date, at least for me!

Anyways, did Don Figueroa draw that pic of Megs? Looks awesome!

Holy smokescreen! Look how how much he towers over that puny little girly man G1 Megatron! That is gonna be one huge friggin gun!

Who else thinks Hasbro/Takara will sell us the silencer and holder parts for like 50 bucks (the lucky ones with the cash to throw down) while the rest have to bargain on ebay for them.

Me waits for them to show up in a Chinatown somewhere.
