    MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron will be released March 2007. Price will be the same as MP-03. No word as of yet as to the alt mode.

    Thanks to Kooltoyz.ca for the news yesterday at the Canadian 80s Toy Expo.

    Hmm... but will he look good? I don't have a lot of faith left after the wonderful MP-03 and the idiotic way they went with BT and turned it into "Kiss Players" over there.

    Well, could be good and could be bad. Too early to tell yet to be honest, but hopefully they'll do him as his G2 tank form that TFs into a G1ish robot mode. Keep the gunmetal silver and black color scheme from G1 and you could have a nice "Masterpiece" figure. If they try to get to "realistic" with it... you'll end up with a glorified G2 toy... minus the purple.

    Great, and I just spent 200$ CAN this weekend on the big Megatron statue because it was the only thing that matched the size of the MP Prime..

    Im willing to put $$ on it that it will be the Abrams Tank Mold that we saw floating around a few months back - I could only wish for a Walther :(

    At a price point of MP-4 (Prime with Trailer) it really can't be a Walther-gun Megatron unless the gun is way larger than the original gun or he comes with an entire playset. Thus, a tank Megatron would be my safest bet.

    I would get a sex change and have the designer's kids if it's a Walther. If it's that Abrams tank we saw on the color guide I will mearly ruin 27 pairs of pants with multiple joygasms.

    Nope. That was an inside joke with Hasbro's Eric and a friend of his. They designed a TF, made a color board for him and then "leaked" it to the fandom. This is not a planned figure.
    Back on topic, HOLY COW! Who needs an alt mode? As long as the bot mode is great I could care less what he turns into.
