Not a great shock, really if it hadn't at the very least opened then no one in their right mind would be handing over 9000yen for it and it's struggling to win buyers as it is from the sounds of the last threads.

Takara have to make this very special if they expect to sell it, I'm sure they know that.

 

And I hope it's not just an upsized g1 trailer. You can do a lot better than that Takara.

I bet it will be modeled after the THS-02 Trailer.

 

Yeah I know, for another $100, it'd better at least open.

I bet you're right and that its modelled after THS-02, but at the same time, I think we should expect even better than that, given the size differences... a trailer that big should have a lot of neat-o things on top of killer detail. (hopefully not just one color also)

 

One can only hope that, comparatively, it's as big a step up in quality as is G1 Optimus to MP Optimus.

 

I just hope their idea of neato things is inline with our own. I also hope they don't just stuff it with weak electronic gimmicks.

But then there isn't really a lot that you can do with it to make it better and still please G1 fans.
One "feature" I would like to see is the cockpit for the snaky tower thing (if indead it's there) being microman sized, there are hundreads of those and a little bit of nudge nudge, wink wink cross sell wouldn't hurt Takara a bit.

 

Have it come with spik and sparkplug pvc's so they can sit at the consoles

 

What would be really great as well is if they sold the trailer on its own so us who got MP Prime the first time around don't have to shell out for the cab part again.

as for features? I'd say if they took a page outta Mark's Projects' book and what HE did with MP Prime's trailer, at least I'd be a happy SOB

 

I'm STILL happy with my Justitoys Trailer. Multiple TFs stand atop it on the shelf, and my 20th Prime (with his added long metal stacks) has his own Alternator inside. I've done about the same thing with other trailers. Takratomy has yet to impress me with the exception of MP Starscream.

 

I know what's inside: an underage, underdressed anime girl PVC and a surfboard that transforms. And the trailer is all plastic. In another year, they will re-re-release this, only with Roller.
