If you're like me then you pre-ordered the ehobby black optimus and got it with a plaque in a bag. A lot of people were complaining that they didn't get a comic like most of the ehobby releases, or like was promised back in august.

Well apparently the comic version is now avaliable. Here's an email I got today with a picture of the comic cover now colourized!

Sorry if this has already been announced, I searched and only found the original announcement back in August about the comic.

This is BS. Least they could do is have the comic available for those who have already purchased one.

From what I understand, based on the response I got from TFSource about this, the toy and packaging were not necessarily exclusive to eHobby. Only the comic is. The only way to get the figure+comic is to buy one from eHobby, or to buy one from a reseller that bought their inventory through eHobby.

If you bought from any other source that was getting their inventory directly from the manufacturer, then you are out of luck because they didn't make the comic. They made the toys, shipped them to eHobby and then eHobby added the comic.

ALL of the Black Optimus MP figures are 100% identical in the packaging. The only differences are the externally included items, such as the comic and metal plate.

Personally, I don't care. I'm sure if its the story that interest anyone, it could be found online eventually. Otherwise, I would rather have the plaque.

How would this even be possible given the logistics of it? Unless you want them to mass produce it and have it available at comic stores? That would (likely) require translation, and I'm sure it's a short comic as these tend to be.

I preordered the e-Hobby one ages ago rather than getting the one that came out last month.

If it's anything like past E-Hobby Comics it's more like a poster than a comic book with no actual pages inside. The story is printed on the other side of the covers. So I would recommend getting the plaque instead for your money.

Man based on the cover art, that comic looks rad. However there's no way to tell what's inside. I wish I could afford one of these babies
