One of the best things about WFC was the detail put into the robot mode for all the transformers. Now I think this mechanic is back, Optimus' parts seem to move. but I noticed Vortex does not have any moving parts, does anyone know about the other characters?

Yea I missed that little detail, now they are all just so stiff :(  the only parts that move are the weapons...

I just looked at some video of part of the game, Optimus' pistons on his arms move up and down, and so does his back, maybe vortex is the only one taht does not move, would be cool to see his chopter blades go up and down in robot form. maybe it does in the full game

I like that aspect, it give more of a live feeling rather just being completly robotish.

i'm pretty sure the animation was incomplete before the demo was made. i looked at the vehicle animation and some had no animation, while others had animation that clips the wheels

The gameplay videos released prior to the demo has the robot parts moving (You can see that clearly in the Bumblebee Mission Video), so I guess its either a demo only thing that it is missing here, or it will only be present in the campaign.

Afterall, from what ive gathered the demo also doesnt use the best texture quality and lacks other visual stuff here and there to reduce file size.

I think this is exactly the case.

You notice how the demo is lacking a lot of the stuff we witnessed in the videos? I think we will get ALL of that stuff in the final version.

Or, you know, I could just be an Optimist Prime

That could be, but it might also be the moving parts are an earlier build of the game and the demo is newer and for whatever reason they might have decided to cut the animations out. Some complained about it in wfc and called it distracting and said its not based on the movies all those moving parts shouldn't be there.

Seriously. It's not distracting at all, and if you're moving it doesn't happen at all.

I think a few bits moving is ok, just, not so much it looks like they're fidgeting through it, having subtle pulses of motion, some like blaster, jazz, soundwave and others, have it set to a musical rhythm, others, more like a heartbeat, would make it look better than half of their back opening up and closing every second.

Most of the characters have moving parts in their vehicle modes, especially the jets.
