He was my first battle damaged figure. Can you tell? I also kinda think the paint on his chest is a little thick. At the last second I decided to mud up his grill and tired, which I gotta say I really like.

What do you guys think of him?

I like it. The battle damage is very cool, nice job translating it from robot mode to vehicle mode in the right spots.

I'm very curious as to how he can still transform properly missing an arm that would normally become part of the hood in the movie haha.

    ... ... ... ...A wizard did it.

I've got an idea of how to make it look partially believable on a Leader version though.

    Very nice. :thumb
Great detailing on the paintjob, especially with all the weathering going on. Battle damage is nice too but the missing arm looks a little too deliberate IMO.

I guess it's the same idea for when Optimus transformed back in the day and his trailer would appear/disappear out of nowhere.

You should have his arm somehow strapped to his back or something in bot mode, that would be cool (like he's going to fix it later).

I think that's cause it was a straight cut right across. I didn't have much room to work with that arm. Though I could have left part of the elbow on, now that I think of it, just to vary it up.

The plan for the Leader version is to get the truck part to magnetically attach to the shoulder, giving the illusion of folding up as part of the transformation, and swap out the arm for a Jetfire arm somehow, to make it look like he killed another bot for his arm and just stuck it on himself. That's how I'm going to explain his Power Up armour.

Although that won't happen for awhile now.
