i posted on a thread a while back about my idea of a transformers series

mine was the storylline in between ROTF and DOTM but now that i think about it, the part ofthe movieverse that hasn't really been explored and would make a good series is th clashes between the bots and cons in their search for the allspark.

y'know, with starscream trying to be a good leader but having to reluctantly look for megatron too

so i thought that it could be the bots and cons clashing in space and on variouse planets and they search the galaxy for the allspark

    whar you think?

An interesting idea but are your talking about it being animated or live action? Because the latter would be horrendous.

I think they should take THIS approach to a movieverse TV series.

Using animation like the 2D Clone Wars TV series could mean quick production, and lets face it, that show was BAD ASS.

    I'd rather not.

Besides you saw what happened with Knightrider.....gets canned because it's too damn expensive. Also chances are that the show won't be that good anyways espicially if it's Bayformers.

Prime and Rescue Bots are good enough for TV. For once we will have 2 different transformers shows alongside each other.

I agree. They should set it on Cybetron also that way you can focus more on the bot to bot interaction. Would be nice to actually SEE Cybertron before and during the fall.

Nothing wrong with "Bay-formers" if written correctly. They could write it just as well as clone wars, do it 3 seasons and be done. Sell a gang of toys and be done, expand on the movieverse in a more serious way.

Season one "the golden age up to the rebellion"
Season two " the beginnings of the fall"
season three " the fall and the exodus"

    Movie 1
    Movie 2
    Movie 3

I like the idea of seeing how the robots lived day by day in the war in a TV show. Like you said, it worked for Clone Wars and it could work for this.

I was originally going to suggest using game-like graphics, like how Beast Wars was done. Back then that was considered some damn good graphics. Today, for a movieverse show, I'd go for something Spirits Within looking, or perhaps Appleseed if you wanted a less serious look. Storywise I was actually thinking on earth, pre-1st movie. Show us some new characters and what not. But after all the awesome suggestions that have already been posted, my idea seems a bit same-old same-old.

Off Topic, Fifam, which Soundwave is that in your Sig? Custom?

Large production TV shows don't last very long. Just look at Game of Thrones.

I say either keep it to the quality of the films or don't bother and seeing as that won't happen there should be no show. Having it like The Clone Wars would just make me think "spin-off". Prime-level animation may make me reconsider.

But I'd rather have a series set after DotM where we see Chicago being restored and the Autobots facing Deceptions all over the world. Since it's a series we could see characterisation that we couldn't get in the films.

Given how much the Clone Wars cartoon series rocks compares to those horrible horrible things George Lucas did to try and kill Star Wars I could see where a cartoon series for the movie Transformers could work.

I guess the big block for it ever happening though is would Hasbro be willing to do yet another Transformers cartoon series right now?

Does seem like a good way to explore the robot characters in ways that the live action films were not able to do. Like maybe show how vile and evil Demolisher was so it doesn't seem like he was just sitting around minding his own business in Revenge of the Fallen.
