Is that one bigger than the battle blades one? Or just the same size?
Anywhere I can see the vehicle mode?
Since I am disapointed with my new Optimus size, I am once again on the lookout and I prefer Peterbild Prime over Western Prime.

Best would be if his altmode is around ultimate Prime size

    I predict:
    Deluxe Bumblebee (Bumblebee the Movie)
    Deluxe Dino
    Deluxe Sideswipe
    Deluxe Barricade
    Voyager Bonecrusher
    Voyager DOTM Optimus Prime
The third Leader Class ( Shockwave, Sentinel Prime, Megatron, or Jetfire).

Since the SS Prime vs Battle Blades prime is a hairs breath away from starting again. I'd just like to inject my probably really unpopular opinion and say I like DOTM Voyager Prime better than both of them.

If literally all you care about is scale, then maybe, but SS OP does just about everything else better. Look at the silhouettes! BBOP looks like a KO kids toy compared to SSOP when you look at their silhouettes. I promise if a 3P company KOs him and makes him just a couple cm taller (they love to go crazy and make voyager figures like 28cm tall and it's ridiculous and unnecessary) everyone who's worried about scale would go apeshit over it saying it's the best thing ever.
If the movie comes out in December, then I'm guessing we won't have product any later than late October.

Haha agreed. I, too applaud the bravery in posting such an opinion, but dotm OP is a joke to me. Looks like a 5 year old's drawing of an OP. However the fire blast repaint was actually different enough (and had one of the only cool mechtech weapons) that I got it on sale and had some good times with it. Still a bizarre mold though.

Is it me or are the proportions on Battle Blades Optimus completely off? The legs look too long and too far apart, making the arms look too short. I've never had him in hand so I'm just going off photos.

That mold while far from the worst Movieverse Voyager class figure, DOTM Voyager Prime really falls short compare to other Movieverse Optimus toys. The proportions is all over the place, the truck mode looks off with gaps all over the truck, and posing that figure feels a bit more fiddly than necessary.

I think it's the leg and the feet on that mold that looks off. The legs looks very skinny compared to the bulky upper body, and the feet also looks way too small. I do understand why some people like that mold, but that mold never looks right for me and the articulation on that figure feels more limited than necessary.

Anyone in here looking to buy the original Buster Optimus Prime with the white pinstripes? He's loose, but comes with all his accessories. In great condition, probably transformed less than 10 times by me, and I bought him new. Had him on display with Jetfire armor for maybe 8 months, and has been closet-kept otherwise. Only slight issue is a weird rust-type coloration that popped up underneath one of his headlights in truck mode. Can provide pics if requested.

That’s so funny you mention the rust thing, that happened to my copy in the same spot way back before I sold it. Never understood what happened

I got a second copy (with the blue pinstripes) last week and that's actually where I first noticed it. I thought it was an issue from the seller. Then when I looked back at my copy, I noticed it had the same thing. Must just be some kind of oxidization on the chromed plastic?

Studio Series Optimus Prime is my favorite, but having previously owned one, I do agree that DOTM Optimus Prime is underrated. The solar panels are a kind of cool affect, and while the back of the truck mode is a little gappy, the robot mode is very clean, with the wheels on his arms really being the only truly intrusive kibble.

Found this guy at Walmart. Jazz was too small for me. I can see Hasbro rereleasing this guy with his masked face, spark extractor and gun face.

The differences between this and the old one are dramatic.

The only thing that bothers me would be the inaccurate wheels. To date, I think there's one KO that got the wheels right.

Either one's fine. Sideswipe was always my favorite movie-bot but maybe RoTF.
