Ah I see. While Rampage is a slightly perplexing choice for SS. I'm really excited to get another Soundwave. Especially if it's the mercedes version.

 

Yeah I agree and while I trust my source I really only see sideswipe and Soundwave coming to pass in the future. Rampage while I'd personally like to see how one would turn out don't think its going to be at the start of studio series Mabey down the line if at all.

 

Rampage hasn't really had a screen accurate toy yet. All but a few were the wrong color entirely and the official bot mode is not his onscreen bot mode (of course gravity will be an issue for a new toy just like the old). Stinger only had a little more actual sreentime and i would argue Bee's fight with Rampage was actually better than Stinger's (obviously completely subjective).






That being said, yeah I'm pretty happy with Rampage.

 

Rampage? Oh boy, I hope he's actually red this time. And maybe a voyager class? Deluxe would be much too small.

 

He’d be as tall as Bee if he were in scale.

 

I hope they give us closed Sideswipe.. the convertible in DOTM always seemed like it was missing something (driver) and the toy had no floor.. (hence the missing driver perhaps?)

 

Never minding logistics of the actual toy and how it transforms, on pure asthetics I prefered the convertible in car mode (just thought it was a better looking car), but Sidesrm Sideswipe was the best toy version we've had so far.

 

So Soundwave...

New Mold, Human Alliance downscale & remold or DOTM Deluxe remold?

I’ll only consider getting Rampage if they actually do go all the way and make the entire group of Constructicons. If they combine into Devastator then you’ve got me.

 

As much as I love the pogo, if we had only one SS Constructicon I'd want to see them tackle Mixmaster. So much play value with the shields and flip-up cannon.

Soundwave is a great choice. The original toy was lots of fun, including his MechTech cannon.

 

A bit miffed Studio Series passed its opportunity to give us our first sorta "triplechanger" (SS ROTF Megatron's shy of a flight mode), so I'm down for a triplechanging Mixmaster

 

Mixmaster wasn't really a triple changer, his cannon mode was just him doing a handstand.

 

Its helicopter afaik

 

If hasbro can't make a Drift that only turns into a car without giving him a huge backpack worth of kibble, I can't imagine what a Drift who turns into both a car and a helicopter would like
