I see what you did there lol
I'd totally pay that price for a kickass dinosaur!
Yup mine has the exact same issue, drove me insane until I found he looks cooler if you just leave both the wing sections out a bit, makes him even more of a dorito.
Got Slog from Amazon today with the g1 colours, makes him look better next to the multi-color team. I am not a fan of this mold at all, the transformation instructions should never have included a dinosaur to robot transform if they were going to package him in robot mode. It's nice to have everybody except Grimlock (until I pick up the SS Leader), but I really wish Hasbro had designed Slog a bit better. I mean those stupid rubber bits warped to high heaven since he's been packaged in the box for three or so years.
yeah, sludge is the only thing keeping me from cracking and picking up the g1-colored platinum set again. 5 of my favorite toys ever, but i was so petrified of sludge's rubber melting someday that i sold the set and have resisted getting it again. maybe in a couple years i'll rebuy it if there's no reports of that mold disintegrating.
Melting rubber is something I don't worry too much about. I'm just pleased it's a voyager sized Apatosaur.
Keep a close eye on ROTF Bludgeon or CW Megatron if you have em and didn't already know.
Can you believe there are already Studio Series Ironhides on ebay and people are actually buying them for their high prices?
Can I believe people are scalping a product that hasn’t been officially announced and other people are encouraging them? Yeah. I can.
It's tempting, but I am just not happy with the price, especially in Canadian.
Never bought Bludgeon, and after the problems with his rubber I'm not about to, but... when did CW Megatron get rubber parts? I thought it was just the RotF Bludgeon mold and its retools/repaints which suffered from this problem documented so far.
Megs has rubber treads for the sake of better traction for the functioning(!) treads. Mine are perfectly fine, though I think some people's copies have had the leaking plasticizer problem, so I suggest occasionally working the treads to keep them from leaking.
Give us a new Sentinel Prime already to go with this guy!
Yeah. I'd love to have a NEW Sentinel Prime.
Wait a second...
I no longer want him now.
Guys, a piece of advice, please:
I already own movie MP Starscream from the first movies and I love him. Do I still need SS Starscream?
If you’re fine with his size and tattoos i would say no.
The Masterpiece version doesn't have Tattoos
No. I like SS Starscream but I still prefer the leader Starscream more.
Nope, I'd say your good. While the SS does look pretty good, it's way too small if you are trying to scale it with the other movie figures. I also own movie MP Starscream, while it does have flaws, it's big and chunky and scales better imo, which I like. I'm sure it'll be surpassed by a new MPM at some point.
that's a different scale though, one where the "leaders" are 'leader class' scale size. Voyager starscream is supposed to scale with new "leaders" that are 'voyager class' scale size.
I know, said it plenty of times now. Look at my pic ^ I like to display ALL my movie figures together, I don't need 10 different scales. 1 movie line, 1 scale for me. I have my Movie MPs that are displayed separately together, everything else movie related is displayed together. Which is why I passed on SS Starscream. I'm sure I'm not the only one that does it this way.
