great jet mode

 

I picked up Blackout today and compared them. He scales very well in alt mode, but is not quite right in robot mode, though he is shorter than Jetfire at least. I think a remold into Grindor would be perfect for both modes. I can post some pictures later.

Pretty sure the new Starscream will have a 80s fighter jet mode which is why it can have red and blue stripes. The next mpm Starscream which is rumoured is probably the bumblebee ss not the trilogy ss

 

There is a new mpm ss so that could be it. Always wondered why they doing another mpm ss when their mpm 1 was tf1 ss

 

Because that “mpm” starscream was a leaderclass repaint, not a masterpiece engineered figure. its kinda the same way they made a second masterpiece megatron and a second masterpiece hot rod.

 

Despite the unfortunate dearth of bamboo in Alberta I tried to channel my inner @Jetbolt during my Wreck-Gar and Grimlock Moto-photo trip to the foothills today. Wreck-Gar is in the CHUG thread. I also realized that Grimlocks face reminds me of Ben Grimm. Coincidence? This scale is damn near perfect. I'm seriously considering starting a side collection of all the in scale military vehicles. Anyone know the length of SS Starscream in alt mod?

they won't do a mpm, but i'm sure there is a decent chance they'll make a studio series one. though later than wave 4 since wave 4 has tattoo screamer confirmed.

I remember reading that Bee and Stinger will be repacked for wave 2, is that correct? What source is the info from?

 

MPM2 was bumblebee back in the day. The short lived line about 7 years ago was originally a premium leader class repaint line.

 

IIRC, the case assortment for Wave 2 was revealed when we got official images for the new figures in the wave, though I could be wrong.

...Man, I can't wait to see the KSI drone that we're getting later...
