Mine has that issue, it's not with the springs. The lever has two tabs on the inside that push tabs on the tusks to close them in when you flip it all the way up. The problem is, on one side of the lever, the tab is smaller and doesn't keep the tusk closed all the way. I think it's that way because that side is where the part is connected to the sprue - there's a small sort of circular deformity on the tab. The solution would be to thicken the tab, but I don't know if superglue or putty would do the job.

No pics cause I don't have a camera, sorry. :(  If I had one, I'd post in these threads a helluva lot more.

No problem. Just know that the top of his head is glued together, so you might wanna try and cut it down the middle without hitting the peg. And you don't have to remove the mouthpiece to access the tusk mechanism, but if you do, don't lose the spring either.

Part of me really wants to break down and get the Depth Charge repaint of this guy from the TFCC, but I just can't pull the trigger on that price, no matter how good of a mold it is.

8 dollars is too expensive? And ps, they have free membership option since they are clearing their stock.

20170811_154835.jpg My very very very novice custom Mohawk. Took HFTD Brimstone then added the lower half of ROTF Dune Runner's arms then finished it off with some Lego hair. :D

Today's new arrival: TLK-15 Calibur Optimus Prime!

This thing is a beaut, I knew mine was coming with the DOTM sword, but I wasn't expecting to get the golden shield too!
