    LOL!

I'm not sure if I love the scale to be honest. and to make Grimlock look imposing, I had to really obscure the train. but you don't learn and get better unless you do things the wrong way from time to time.

Here are my two cents: If you were aiming for a fantasy picture, I think you did fairly well. Grimlock scales well with the train as if they are both toys...

however, if your plan was to make Grimlock massive, still some extra steps needed in that direction >XD What's the story here, is Grimlock racing a train, realizing he is about to lose, and in the next shot going to devour the train? I know sometimes art is unmotivated but I am curious if you have particular themes you strive to represent within your work

some pics are parts of a larger grand scheme that I lay out. this pic was more of an excuse to have SS Grimlock in beast mode at that angle.

It’s really well done. IF only I have the painting skill to make the black & white versions...

Yeah, RID should've been a completely new series but we got what we got, cyberverse is alright but prime will always be the best, I loved the characters, humans and storylines. True fans would've watched TFP :D

Ikr Bayverse designs are amazing and I only collect movieverse toys as I only have money for them but Siege isn't that appealing to me, but if I had to get a Siege figure, it would be Shockwave.
Thank you! Not trying to be rude but some people can't let go of G1. If Travis Knight makes everything G1 I hope he adds movieverse elements.
Oh not again, LET THE PUNS BEGIN (and facepalms)

That’s a fun pic! There are a couple tips I’d like to throw out there for you if you’re interested:

    - your shadows are usually way too heavy and spread out. Since Grimlock is huge he wouldn’t have such a dark and large shadow underneath him unless it was high noon on a really sunny day. Some shadow near the feet and a touch of shadow between the legs is all that’s needed.

    - pay attention to the light source in the pics. If it’s a night scene then the lights may be behind if it’s a city or from the moon above.

    - try and balance the colors more with the backgrounds you choose. Grimlock should be more green in the above pic cause everything has a strong green tint to it.

    - pay attention to the angle of the floor. Grimlock’s feet would be on more of an even plane from the angle above. Put the figures on a similarly angled surface when taking the pics.

Keep at it! You’ve clearly got some good photoshop skills so keep developing your talent!
Yeah I’m a little worried about Knight saying how much he reveres G1, but so far they mostly look OK. It’s just that blocky and smooth doesn’t look alien at all. G1 leans almost entirely towards the “robot” part of “alien robot” to the point where they don’t resemble living beings at all.

I've honestly never felt that way before when I bought most of the Prime Wars stuff. I just loved their designs for how they were so I never really minded it. I guess it's just the Movie designs are like more geared towards us I suppose.
Well, I've collected CHUG, Prime Wars, Studio Series, and Aligned, while I've grown up with the UT and the Movieverse. I'm not only into the movie designs though, but when I bought some RiDx2015 characters, I regretted it lmao. I guess the designs of the toys were too childish even for me(Don't attack me. I get it was targeted towards a younger audience).
    No! Wait! Don't encourage this!!!

You know, I'm really surprised that we haven't gotten a 2007 Camaro Bumblebee in Studio Series yet.
