Yes, clearly a discrepancy in special effects is a plot hole, and nothing else.

Starscream could easily be the same size. The folding pannels, the brid like legs and the huge length his torso holds. I honestly think the F-22 is that size as a robot on screen.

    Maybe...
The thing that concern's me though, is the Heavy Tank Amour in "Tank Mode" converting into a high performance "Fighter Jet"??? :inquisiti

No doubt at some point someone on another site will use it in a similar discussion as if it's official and accurate. :p

Planes and helicopter transformers are just about half the length of their vehicle modes. Grindor/Blackout's alt-mode is 92 feet long, collapse that in half you get 46 feet. This is reasonable if you have seen ROTF Grindor is alot taller and bulkier than Optimus Prime. I think Starscream is around 31 feet in height and his alt mode is 62 feer. The jet collapses in half to bulk himself up and build up all that left over space.

Thats not Longhaul's alt mode, his alt mode is a lot bigger than that. Though it is possible there is a smaller longhaul to match Rampage's size. IF you look at the scene when Devastator is comibining, the green dumptruck that is transforming (Behind Leo and Simmons) doesn't look that big.

I think we should all create a FAQ and have the mods sticky it. I would love to contribute, all of my theories on things like movieverse mass-shifting and clones of multiple transformers make alot of sense.

Not that there aren't a lot of dumb posts in this and other threads but just posting :deadhorse:  adds absolutely nothing to the topic. At lest pretend to have something to say.

He does. Immediately following the telleport, Wheelie is speaking to Jetfire. Wheelie is either 7 ft tall in that scene or Jetfire shrunk a crazy amount.

I mean, I understand why they did it. Wheelie would be damn near invisible in a full-body Jetfire shot. Can't film a conversation like that.

But yeah. Wheelie grows to bigger than a person.

oh quick fact here about the Scapper/Hightower thing, if you notice while Devs is combining a small dozer configures into a hand (can't exactly remember which arm it's for) then procedes to briefly scuttle around like a crab before a configuring arm slams down on top of it to complete the arm transformation.....hope that helps clear up that little bit.
