Well, I've had this guy at this level of completion for a little while now.
I should just finish him up and then move on to the next project. However I've chickened out and have been working on other things instead of painting and finishing.

However, recently Algernon posted their own Prowl and I figured "oh, crap- might as well as face the music and try my hand at painting".

So here he is, prior to painting.

    So I guess I should:

    1) Disassemble
    2) Soak in rubbing alcahol and remove existing paint
    3) wash in warm soapy water; rinse, dry
    4) Primer
    5) paint

So, did I get that right? Missing anything?

Before Priming and Painting I suggest you sand/file down rub spots.
You could also just use alcohol + Q-Tips to get the paint off.

    BTW Prowl is looking boss.

Edit: If you want some paint practice you could go to Big Lots and buy a cheap $5 transformer KO to test on.

Nice! I love the push bar and that BB mold's shoulder cannons are much more like G1 Prowl.

And that is what I was after. Thank you.

Looks pretty good so far. Jetstorms head works for this. What you want to do is prime the whole figure and then Transform him. That way you will know where all your rub spots are that you need to sand down.
