I want classics dinobots, at least Snarl and Sludge, like many. It seems to me that the best way to get that happen would be to have movieverse dinos or even a dinobot in some sense that appears in TF3 or even some future iteration. Surely Bay could involve a TF T Rex to make things even more awesome!

Forget it. It's been said the Dinobots, any of them will not be in TF3. I could be wrong, but I think Bay hates them.

However, if they do a flash-back to the past when the Transformers first appeared on Earth millions of years ago, I suppose we might see a cameo appearance of Grimlock. I think that would be our best shot.

Either this or as toys in the line that did not appear in the movie. Only thing is if that was how we got them i doubt we would see them in size classes most of us would want seeing as the lions share of the non movie figures from ROTF were scouts.

Thanks! I try not to be up to date on what Bay thinks about things. A bit scary in there, no?

Oh well. Dinobots will remain in their graveyard...

Bay doesn't think about anything but himself.

I think Grimstone looks a lot like Sludge in robot mode. He's a tad small, but he'll be going on my Classics shelf next to Grimlock...I just need to figure out if he's Slag or Sludge in my personal canon.

Hypothetically speaking, since we know we aren't getting Dinobots, there could be some bots landing near an amusement park when they arrive on earth. Their circuits scrambled, they scan the first thing they see- an animatronic dinosaur, not being able to tell that a vehicle would be more practical. Alas, it'll never happen. :(

I'm not going to say we're getting them or we're not. I know enough to not listen to anything Bay says though and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Dinobots in TF3. Not saying I think we are, but I wouldn't be SHOCKED.

Actually, that's pretty close as to how "Alice" from ROTF was created (as in, the Decepticon scanned an Alice animatronic from an "Alice in Wonderland" ride. That looked like an increadibly hot chick), and we ALL know how well Alice was recived.

That's also sorta how the Animated Dinobots were created (except they were litteraly rebuilt from animatronic dinosaurs and infused with AllSpark energy)

My money's on a toy-only voyager or deluxe movie-styled Grimlock.

you'd have better luck finding survivors on the Titanic right now than getting a Bay-verse Dinobot.

RTS/Generations is very iffy, according to my Magic 8-ball, but there's still more hope in that line than with TF3.
