I was thinking loooong time ago. Should be a croosover of Movierse with Animated?

I think that would be very interesting. One world where good guys won, even without the Allspark and other world destroyed by war and with the Allspark gone.

    What do you think?

I think the vastly different styles would be the biggest issue in making a crossover that works, with the second being the completely different "feeling" or atmosphere or theme or whatever you want to call it between the two sub-franchises.

Of course, this isn't to say it couldn't work...

I think it would be really hard to pull off. The two series are pretty different so if you made Animated fans happy you'd upset Movie fans and if you made Movie fans happy you'd likely upset Animated fans.

I think you could work some of the movie characters into Animated if the series wasn't going to end so soon. But even then I think the look and even the personalities would end up being really different than they were in the film.

Nah, I'll pass on that, I love the movieverse stuff, but animated isn't so apealing to me.

Yeah if they were in Animated, the movie characters might actually have personalities then.

I think it could totally work in the TF:A comic. Just have some sort of Universe spanning worm-hole type deal and have the movie-bots in their untra-detailed style in Animated low-res world. Plus, they can have Sam show up so TF:A BB can say, "Gee and I thought Sari was annoying..."

I dont think a crossover story of these two would work.
I do however, want a movieverse based cartoon with Animated's quality of writing.
Hopefully that's what Hasbro is cooking up next. :)

Oh and the problem of power levels. Do you weaken the Animated Decepticons down to the Movie level or do you really turn up the power level of the Movie Decepticons? Could be a really short fight since Animated Decepticons can take on several Autobots at once and can't be touched by human weapons while Movie Decepticons fall over dead really quick even from human attacks.

Take the best from both continuities, and make a new series with that.

Movie-style CGI series, designs will be simplified, low-res version of the movie, with the wholesome goodness of Animated characterization and personalities, taking place in a universe similar to the movie's.

Unlikely as it may seem, I think it could work if done right. Whether it is or not is another matter.

My personal preference would be a show that continues Animated (maybe in a really loose way, like each series in the AEC trilogy continues the previous one) with more elements, style and storywise, coming from the movie. Animated already had some superficial similarities to the movie-verse (partial casts, the Allspark, Megatron's Cybertronian form.)

Probably not a good idea. Two separate things.

If it happened, I'd have to watch/read it. Just out of morbid curiosity.

Or don't adjust it and let the Animated 'cons "Clean House" with the movieverse. That I could get behind! 22 minutes or 18 pages of the various Animated Decepticons brutally slaughtering the Movieverse Autobots and Decepticons... Oh, I think I found a new happy place...

    Other then that, no thanks.

Ha ha, yes it would likely be brutal what Animated Megatron and Animated Starscream could do to their Movie counterparts. Best part is Animated Starscream would likely have something smart to say about it.

It would be neat to see, but it wouldn't be fair. The level of power and vulnerability isn't equal in both universes. Animated Megatron alone is far too powerful, ruthless and brilliant. Add in the rest of the Animated Decepticons and you would have a one sided slagging going on.
