This and also Episode II & III. I also really like the Godzilla with Mathew Broderick too.

Hands down the Star Wars prequels, especially Episode I. I really enjoyed Episode I, for some reason, it had a lot of magic that was sometimes absent in Episode II (which I'm still okay with). In general, blasphemous though it may be, I prefer the prequels to the originals, especially in terms of their scope, mythology and universe.

I'll also chime in with Star Wars: Episodes I, II and III. I don't even call them prequels anymore, because that means the story starts with Episode IV. It doesn't. While I will admit they don't hold a candle to Episodes IV, V and VI, they're still Star Wars and they're still fun.

    Also, Green Lantern.

I'll have to further the Star Wars prequels "love". Sure, they're not as good as the OT, but they're not as horrible as made out to be and I'd hardly say the OT is as perfect as often made out to be.

I'll have to agree with the prequels, too.

Van Helsing too, people often hate that movie but I find it a fun blockbuster flick, the soundtrack is pretty damn awesome, the CGI is incredible [My favorite Frankstein design of all time, same goes for the Werewolf] and Hugh Jackman is the Sean Connery of the modern age [i.e he makes every movie MORE awesome than already is].

Another case of this is The Fountain [A Darren Aranofsky film with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz], most people find it ridicuously boring and unfocused, but I find it a remarkably interesting analysis on the concepts of life and death, featuring a creative story, unforgettable effects [all of the CGI in the movie is actually enhanced photography of cells and liquids] and one hell of an acting lession from Hugh Jackman. Seriously, everyone who thinks he can only make that same old badass lead role should watch this movie, he plays three diferrent roles to perfection.

    Mine would have to be:

    Spice World
    Joe Versus the Volcano
    Hook
    Dumb and Dumber

In regards to SW prequals, I don't love or hate them they are just there. I have them on dvd but can't remember when I last watched them.

The Star Wars prequels, Chronicles of Riddick (kinda funny that I dislike Vin Diesel) and Scorpion King.

So do all of our replies in favor of the SW Prequels kind of disqualify them from being "movies everybody hates"? :lol

No, because I hate them. You're welcome. :D

Oh, and I love Highlander II. So take my opinion on anything else with, like, a salt lick.
