Against the LOTR movies? I don't know how far that'd get. ;)

The new Superman wasn't too bad. But it wasn't really good either. Spacey was really disappointing.

The LOTR movies were good IMO,

Some of the scenes were nothing short of spectacular and the action was really intense.

That being said, the material was pretty easy to work with.

    I also haven't seen Clerks 2

I agree. Something has got to be said about movies that were made be-for the Matrix.

Raiders is one of my favorite movies.

Well, Star Wars was just a sci-fi remake of Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress.

George Lucas is a hack! HACK!

i would actually recommend clerks 2 over the original, which feels dated now (and its not because of the look). chasing amy FTW!

nuh uh, it also refered to that obscure WW2 movie abt bombing a damn, for the trench scene, ooh my trivia is failing me.

but lucas is cool! he has no artistic pretensions, he just wanna make money off you! (loved his bit in the recent oscars with steven and de palma i think "hey guys...!" lol)

I still haven't seen E.T. Or any of that Molly "hideous gums from hell" Ringwald stuff. I want to give "Say Anything" a shot. Stalking FTW.

Most of the other movies mentioned, I've seen and loved.

I thought Spacey was pretty decent, just the movie itself was so boring and the fact that its suppose to take place after part 2 and Lois has a kid and blah blah blah, total waste.

To what KA said, I think Godfather was a good movie, not the greatest but certainly watchable, Apocalypse, well I'm not much of one for war movies but I guess if you are then you'd like it. I still havent seen 2001 but I'm not opposed to it and Clockwork I thought was quite interesting, I still need to read the book.

I saw the first LOTR movie, not quite my style, never been a big fan of the witches and fairies type of fantasy and I never read the books.

    F-that Clerks animated series FTW!

As for Jux's boycott of LOTR, when Forrest Gump came out I was soo tired of the hype and hearing about the movie I boycotted it for 10 year. Then my wife made me watch.

    It was okay.

As for LOTR I think Randall said it best
    Randall's LOTR summary

If you're uncomfortable describing something as "gay" then why not choose a description that you are comfortable saying?

Only problem with the Clockwork Orange movie is that it didn't use the ending from the book.

    2001 is great.

    Clockwork Orange is over-rated pap.

I have not seen the Godfather. I never will.
I have not seen Apocalypse Now. I never will.
I have not seen Saving Private Ryan. I never will.
I have not seen Schindlers List. I never will.
I have not seen Daredevil. I never will.
