Movies so good you watch them on TV even though you own them on video

So last night, Saving Private Ryan was on TNT. Despite owning this on DVD, if it's on TV I'm going to stop down and watch it. Same with A Few Good Men.

What movies are like that for you all?

Actually most of the movies I own are like that. I'll be flipping through the channels and see something on and just stop to watch it, commercials and all, even though I could just as easily pop it in the DVD player. I think it comes from having the movie already provided for me rather than having to make a decision on which one to watch.

I can't watch movies on TV anymore because most of my favorites end up edited.

yea same here, i have stopped watching movies on tv, because they're always edited or "full screen"

    which is still edited lol.

or they are the theatrical release instead of the uncut/extended version.

if it wasn't for the fact my local movie theater only costs 5 dollars a ticket, i would just wait for them to come out on dvd.

    i really HATE edited movies.

Thank god I thought I was the only one that did this. Yeah, whenever a movie is on I will watch it ads and all when I have the DVD copy sitting a mere few meters away.

If I have it on Itunes or DVD, I don't bother watching it on TV. Why deal with all the stupid advertisements and lame editing? It sucks when they cut out the best parts too............plus there's good ol' Netflix!

Iron Man. Every time it's on FX, I have to watch it. And Casablanca on TCM. If it's on, I'm watching it.
