I love me some Kevin Smith movies
Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, Chasing Amy and Clerks 2 are by far my favorites!

    memorable quote from Dogma

    Bethany: What's he like?
Metatron: God? Lonely. But funny. He's got a great sense of humor. Take sex for example. There's nothing funnier than the ridiculous faces you people make mid-coitus.
Bethany: Sex is a joke in heaven?
Metatron: The way I understand it, it's mostly a joke down here, too.

Actually I feel that way most about Dogma. It's an ok enough film, but the part where they're sat on the train and Chris Rock's character batters you over the head with the films message kinda ruins it. I know you can argue that most of his films do this to a degree, but in that one it feels especially forced

Kevin Smith is funnier than his movies. They really tend to be hit and miss. In particular Chasing Amy was fucking terrible.

I personally think most Kevin Smith's movies don't age well. I am a big fan of the Clerks Animated series, however.

I still like all his movies quite a bit, but a big "hell yes" on the Animated sentiment. Best thing he's done, hands down. I so wish ABC hadn't totally screwed it over.

Freddy Got Fingered - I'm serious. I'm not saying it's genius (it's not), but if you can't watch it all the way to the end, get out of my personal space! I'm not really a Tom Green fan either, but this movie is so fricking bad/crazy it's awesome.

If you thought Hellboy 1 was better than Hellboy 2- GTFO. Hellboy 1 was a royal piece of shit on all levels. Hellboy 2..meh, not the greatest, but more decent overall, and great creature design.

If you like any movie from M. Night Shyamalamabalalabad that is not the Sixth Sense or Unbreakable - GTFO.

If you didn't like Iron Man because it was cheesy, unrealistic and just not 'The Dark Knight' - GTFO.

Also, if you don't at least acknowledge The Dark Knight is a professionally crafted movie - You're batshit insane, what the hell are you still doing here?

And oh yeah, what's wrong with people that don't like the Back To The Future trilogy? Groundhog Day? Un Long Dimanche De Fiancailles?

Really? When growing up the second one was my favorite. I guess I loved the idea of hover boards and flying cars...

Now it seems a little campy, but it is still fun to see the 1980's vision of the future. Double ties, self fitting jackets and hydrated pizza...now that is a future I can live in...

I've tried, and just can't like Unbreakable. Way too predictable and unsatisfying.

Signs, on the other hand, is one of my top twenty movies on the strength of the characterization alone.

Oh man, I just thought of the ultimate yardstick by which to judge others.

People who don't like John Carpenter movies are clearly outerspace moonmen without hearts or brains or eyes.

Big Trouble in Little China is the greatest movie everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Vampires was pretty disappointing as well.
