I'm sorry if I sound bitchy, but, people changing the topic of a thread of mine happens to annoy me, alot. Let's please get back on topic. Does anybody have any ideas for a replacement head for him to look more like Warpath? I'm currently looking threw some Seibertron galleries, but haven't found anything yet.

Hmm.....with a little remolding to change the face-plate a little it could work. An idea I got a couple of minutes ago, would be to use the 6" Titanium Jetfire head, though that one would be harder to get ahold of, lol.

Paint on the eyes, and that's a pretty good looking Warpath head, IMHO.

Yeah, both those do make pretty good Warpath heads, though you are correct about Jetfire's beeing a bit big for Deluxe Brawl's body. I'll look into getting BW2 Dirge's head.

 

If you do go with the Dirge head, I have a suggestion for the eyes. Painting two identical eyes, perfectly spaced would be really tough. My suggestion would be to make a pair of eyes decal and print it on clear decal sheet. Cut-out and apply!

 

also look into Machine Wars and some Universe planes because BWII dirge was a straight repaint of a seeker in machine wars

Have you figured out how you're going to get the cannon on his chest yet?

 

I would think Longarm's head would be about right.

Also mite lose the top turret.

 

I don't plan to, and I never did. I'm not going for G1 accuracy, so it doesn't matter to me that the cannon isn't coming from his chest. Similar situation with the coloring.

 

Hmmm...never thought about using his, I'll look into it. About the 2nd turret, I did get rid of it for the digibash when I was working on it, but, it didn't look right to me. I've also taken off the parts that I got rid of in the digibash from the Brawl that I have, and the 2nd turret helps give his alt-mode that pudgy tank look. It also gives him more fire-power.

Other than some of the other mods that I was able to do with the alt-mode photo, the head-swap, the possible arm mods, and possibly some more red details on some of the robot parts, this is what I currently plan the bot-mode to look like.

Warpath bot-mode-

 

Hmm you may want to make the treads gray so that don't stick out too much.

 

I like the color scheme. Perhaps you could have more of the traditional G1 red on parts that do not show in alt mode. That way you get the best of both worlds. A realistic vehicle and alittle G1 love.

 

Actually, I wanted them to stick out a little, lol. That's why I chose a rusty/orange color for them.

If you read what I said above that photo, I do plan to add more red details to the bot-mode parts
