Should definetely be front-paged!!! Interesting variation, it looks like the finish is metallic. Maybe an exclusive? The main beam is black instead of green.

    whataloadacrap.

that said, thats exactly the reason ive been avoiding this figure. the disparity in color tone betwen plastic and paint is overly apparent in person.

Meh - that's a minuscule difference to me. I'm completely happy with the one I have now.

I couldn't at first either, I had to let the colors saturate in my eyes and even then it's not that apparent. :lol

the difference looks like its reflective paint, like the real car would be painted with.

You have to be colorblind to not see the difference. How come it's not frontpaged yet?

Personally, I don't see a big enough difference to really bring it up yet. I do see the difference though. If it does turn out to be a more movie accurate paintjob like the Robovision Prime, I'm not sure what I'm going to do, lol. I already bought a Voyager Ratchet. If we see more of this, then I can see it brought up on the front-page, but, not till then.

Ugh, the only reason I'd ever buy that white repaint, would be to repaint it into C.A.C.C. colours.

Pretty slick. Though I'm quite happy with pea-soup Ratchet.;)

So does that mean it's not a variant?

Man, the barely visible Classics Starscream remold was front-paged, the little Movie BB variant was front-paged, all other redecos have been front-paged, so why not this one? Peter Cullen picking his nose is frontpaged. This variant is as obvious as the exclusive Takara metallic-like DLX '74 BB.

The seller also said that white Ratchet and G1 SS might never be released, which is a lie.

KA sure hit the nail on the head.

I am not colorblind, and I can not see a difference. Or rather, I can see a difference that appears to be a result of the lighting angle, not anything that has to do with paint. Plus, an unheard-of seller in Australia wth factory connections? Ehh.
