I still can't get past that mold's poor excuse for a vehicle mode.

IMO the head, although rendered in the new movie style, doesn't quite mesh as well with the body. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of this bot's body design/proportions.

He does actualy look better with 'chicken legs' I think it suits the look unfortunatly these pictures kinda make it look weird with straight legs.

Well, that settles it. I guess I won't be buying Movie Starscream. These colors look worlds better on the mold.

If Starscream was gray it would be a different story, but a tan jet with dirt apps sprayed on the wings (why?) just doesn't look as nice as ol' Blue here.

My instincts are telling me I should wait for the Ratchet repaint too...

But then watch me fall in love with the movie and have to buy Starscream and Ratchet anyway just to have the movie colors.

Okay, I'm sold on the mold

The jet mode isn't all that bad now.

    Love the bruiser bot mode

Are there 2 variants of Starscream?

TFkenkon (Remy) has a grey one.
Seibertron (Ryan) has a tan one (not prototype)

They need to stop posting pictures of this one. Each new view makes me dislike it more. :)

Why does Thundercracker have a light piped upper lip? What is going on below his nose there? Its very strange.

That deco looks stupid with that mold. The grey pants look terrible.

I've finally realized what this deco reminds me of with those shorts and big barrel chest: A rugby player! He'd make a good Prop or a flanker.

... despite that, I'm still liking SS a lot more.

wow. after taking just a quick glance at these pics, one startling thing came to mind.

this sculpt and deco could be easily changed into a 2K7 movie styled Jetstorm.

just some tweaks to the head, and adjust the legs so that they can merge into the hover point thing.

The face is really monstrous/nightmareish. I kinda like it better than Starscream.. Although grey in robot mode seems kinda out of place.

I'm still having trouble with the proportions of the bot. We'll see.

Still not a big fan of the grey legs but the rest of it is freaking awesome. A definite buy along with Starscream.
