Just a little something I've been messing with for a few months. A gift for my brother. He owns a '93 Mustang and wanted me to build him a TF based on it.

These are rough preview pics. I still have a few more details to add, but you get the idea. I'll post better final pics soon.

    Thanks for taking a look!

    UPDATE:
Finally finished with this guy. Here are some updated pics featuring multiple poses and angles. Thanks again for taking a look!

Wow, that looks incredible! I take it you've gone for movie-style, in which case you've captured the aesthetics pretty well (but then you usually do in your artwork, too). The only thing that bugs me is the face, which seems a little too... comical, I think is the word.

Is this transformable, or is it just designed to look like it is (if it's the former, I seriously hope you've been taking WiP pics, because you know we'll all want a how-to!)?

Thanks. It can be tricky. One of the hard parts is keeping track of all the pieces once I've chopped the car up. LOTS of pieces.

I guess it could be CJ. Since it was meant to be a gift for my brother, I thought it would be best if he gave it a name.

I never had a particular character in mind while I was working on it. My brother had some requests as far as where certain parts would go in general terms (front end for chest, etc).

He's a fan of Jazz, so he wanted the car parts to be in a similar area. He actually wanted the doors to be wings like Jazz or Prowl, but I ended up vetoing him in the end based on getting an even coverage of red car parts on the bot and needing to make sure I put the front and back windshield to good use without it just hanging off the final product like alot of G1 or Alternators do (since I was trying to recreate the movie look). I did do some test fitting of the "door wings" and they looked pretty cool. But in the end, I went with what you see here. It was more about trying to create a movie style bot that resembled his 1993 Ford Mustang than any particular character.

I do actually have a Cliffjumper planned as well based on his original Porsche alt mode. I'll probably stick a little closer to his G1 self than try to make him into a full-blown movie design.
