    I dont think that works for the movie style all that well.

    well... it just a color bash really... I plan on remolding the arms and legs and a few other details as well

    You'll definitely have to get rid of any and all organic detailing on the figure before you go any further at all. The Longarm head would work a lot better too, and would barely need any modifying to look not only like Grimlock, but fit the movie aesthetic too.

    Nice, but the Optimus head would need to be a smaller. Not sure if it screams "movie" to me.

    Yeah.. the organic detail it the first thing I'm planning on getting rid of... Gonna be sculpting all kinds of panel lines and such on both robot and dino mode... Do you guys think I should remove the VTOL fans on the dino hips?
