This is my take on making the dull voyager Starscream look a little more movie-accurate.

I couldnt afford to make the mod to his arms and hands so i kept them original but painted them to match the rest of the toy and i think they look alright now.

I used silver car paint, applied with an airbrush and the rest i used enamels. I used acrylics for the black washing (as thats all they are good for).

The decals are from an F-15 model kit i bought as a side project.

I added a Decepticon logo to the nose cone as a little nod towards G1 screamer. ;)

Oooh, love the little purple 'Con symbol. And the bronze detailing looks nice.

    I bid...

Wasn't easy to get price conversions. Realized the easiest way was to go to the link, then change the suffix to .com.

I didn't make your reserve (willing to buy at my maximum bid), but at least it'll generate more interest with some bids on it. Most of the cost right now is in shipping... (And I don't remember PayPal's conversion fees...)

I'm watching this. Very interesting. Especially since it's in the UK for once :D

Out of interest, what IS the reserve?

Yeah im gonna need a little more than your maximum bid. These figs cost £20 to buy new (the fig is still new)in this country and i have to at least try to make that back, i also need to try and recoup what i paid for paint and materials.

The reserve is set at £50 (since thats the lowest ebay will let you set a reserve otherwise it would be less)

I dont think £50 is too much to ask really. That would only leave me a £15 profit after materials and cost of figure and ebay fees. I put many hours into this too but i doubt i'll see anything for those. :(

Yeah I figured it'd be something like that. To be honest mate I've found that it's actually cheaper for a lot of things to go onto eBay, and get them from the States + shipping cost over here, than it is to go into TRU and pay RRP. Go figure.

I'm keeping an eye on this one anyway.

Very nice work. I'd love to see some more detail on his back, but the mold doesn't really help this.
